it's as simple as something that nobody knows

 I feel uninspired and uninspiring and I have felt this way for the past two or three days. It's making me not do homework and reading. The uninspired/laziness, that's not a new feeling to me, but the uninspiring thing is kind of weird. I mean I've felt pretty boring/unspecial in the past (has never bothered me particularly), but now I just feel uninspiring. Not sure what the difference is.

I have now returned from pit rehearsal (I'm playing in the pit for a production of The Magic Flute at my school) and I feel better.

...so that's why I keep playing violin.

 Food is great.

I just thought of this one time in Taiwan when we went to a burger place, but they had rice buns as an option. No, not buns made out of rice flour. Buns made out of rice, cooked a certain way and then smushed together. ...okay I just did a little bit of research and it looks as though they smush cooked sticky rice into a patty/bun shape, and then grill or fry it just so the outsides get crispy.

Anyway, that was a long time ago but I remember it being quite tasty.

My desk is already a mess. Maybe I should try harder...

...has got to be one of my favorite little internet sayings.

Man, I could go for some bubble tea right now. Except if I were in Taiwan, I'd order it half-sugar because I don't feel like drinking anything sugary. Just milky tea.

On the first Friday of every month, the art galleries on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville open up and are free for a few hours of the evening. Also, as long as it's fairly nice weather, the Pavilion hosts a free concert on Fridays. I had an assignment to go downtown today and analyze the people at the concert and the people in at least two art galleries.

I actually had a great time. It was the first time I've been downtown this year, and I saw a bunch of art and stores that I otherwise would never have even given a second glance. For example, I went into a place called C'ville Arts. It was this gallery-slash-store for local artists to display and sell their works. There was some really great stuff in there, and I ended up buying myself an anklet.

At some point I had a steamer with vanilla and honey from The Flat - the creperie downtown. Nom nom nom, just what I needed.

I can't remember what else I was going to say. Oh well.

My friend is entering a photo contest and needs some opinions as to which photos to use. Will you guys pick TWO of the following photos?

I just changed my journal style. I was going for something with browns, because I realized recently that I dig brown. But I ended up with this one.

Now I just have to get used to it :D

You know what I like about England? The pound coin.

I'm going to go back to non-existing now. I promise I'll update soon. Ish. I just haven't really been in the mood.

I'm off! I pretty much won't have internet access until July 5 or 6, unless one of the hotels we're staying at has computers with internet. Then, I'll have quite limited access until I return home late on August 15.
